VINEVIDA

is seeking an experienced and results-driven Product Development Chemist to lead the formulation of new fragrance-based products across cosmetic and non-cosmetic categories. From lotions and roll-ons to car sprays and home fragrance formats, this role is responsible for transforming product ideas into stable, high-performing formulations that showcase our fragrance portfolio. This is a hands-on role where scientific expertise meets creativity and market awareness. The ideal candidate will not only create and test formulas but also oversee initial small-scale fabrication to ensure product consistency and effectiveness before handoff to production or external partners. Key Responsibilities Develop and refine formulations for a wide range of fragrance-compatible products including (but not limited to) personal care, home care, and specialty applications. Select appropriate raw materials to ensure product stability, safety, fragrance performance, and regulatory compliance. Innovate with textures, finishes, and delivery formats that align with brand and customer expectations. Prepare lab-scale batches and conduct stability, performance, and sensory evaluations. Adjust and troubleshoot formulas based on testing outcomes and feedback from stakeholders. Maintain detailed formulation records and technical documentation for each product. Supervise initial fabrication of new products to ensure that lab-to-batch scalability is successful and aligned with the intended outcome. Identify potential manufacturing issues early and propose solutions. Collaborate with production teams to refine process instructions for future scaling. Work closely with marketing, operations, and quality teams to align product performance with brand positioning and production capabilities. Provide technical support and expertise for product claims, regulatory reviews, and documentation needs. Qualifications Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry, Cosmetic Science, Chemical Engineering, or a related field 3+ years of experience in formulation of fragrance-related products (personal care, home fragrance, etc.) Deep understanding of raw materials, product stability, and regulatory considerations Hands-on experience with lab-scale product development and small-batch manufacturing oversight Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a passion for creating high-quality products Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver on tight timelines
