The Chemist I will perform quality controltesting of raw materials, in-process and final products; followinggeneral instructions on routine work and detailed instructions onnew assignments. Qualifications Perform quality control chemistryand/or Immunoassays for raw materials, in-process and finalproducts according to approved Standard Operating Procedures(SOPs). Perform instrument calibration or qualification accordingto written procedures. Perform testing as needed to generate datafor method validations and other special projects, followinggeneral instructions on routine work and detailed instructions onnew assignments. Fulfill requests from management for assistance inother matters as needed. Accountable for following StandardOperating Procedures (SOPs) and adhering to cGMP guidelines.

Utilize cGMP practices in documentation and execution of jobfunctions. Review documentation on trained tasks as assigned bymanager

Education Requirements:

B.S. in Chemistry, Biochemistry,Molecular Biology or related science discipline is required.

Experience Requirements:

This position requires experience in alaboratory setting. Work experience in a regulated environment(FDA, EPA, etc.) is preferred.
