To coordinate and manage “day-to-day” formulation lab activities in support of the business needs. Scope Replicate color cosmetic and skincare formulation by due dates and improve knowledge daily basis. Manage and coordinate day to day lab regulatory requirements for product development. Functions Manage “day-to-day” projects assigned by Lab Manager, based on product briefs and development requests. Assess project feasibility and assign work to lab technicians based on the degree of complexity and skills required. Keep time schedule for submissions to marketing, formula evaluation, pilot schedule, stability, safety testing, etc. Discuss timing and project related aspects with Lab Manager. Responsible for successful R D contributions. Communicate to direct supervisor any issue related to project feasibility. Interface with suppliers. Maintain laboratory safety standards. Perform routine analytical and physical tests. Ensure that customers’ expectations are met/exceeded. Perform other tasks as assigned by supervisor. Key Performance Indicators (KPI) Total % of R D task completion on time based on PLM system excluding overdue task driven by other team (and/or) customers. Total % of formula approval. Total % of lab scale up or pilot batch success. Cross functions (teamwork) with other teams to build global organization. Contribution to the business growth and net profit. Education Bachelor’s Degree in chemistry and/or equivalence in science related field. Additional courses in area of expertise.
