position for a F/T Quality Control Scientist to join our exciting team in St. Petersburg, FL.
LOCAL CANDIDATES PREFERABLY.
The Quality Control Lab is responsible for testing raw materials and finished products samples to demonstrate that all products meet specification requirements. The QC Scientist will perform testing on products assigned by the Laboratory Manager. Responsibilities Perform analytical testing using various analytical equipment including HPLCs, UV-vis, ICP-MS Perform microbiology tests using Biolumix Microbiology System Review laboratory notebooks Willingness to learn and master new analytical procedures Maintain calibration and equipment logs Keep track of chemicals and other laboratory resources Perform other duties as may be required or necessary Requirements B.S Chemistry, Biology or Physical Sciences Good communication skills Must be able to adopt to changing priorities Willingness to work a flexible schedule if necessary To be considered for this position, please send your resume, cover letter, and references.
