As an QC Analytical Chemist I / Incoming Inspection, you will be responsible for conducting quality control testing of materials and production samples as required to support contact lens production. You will be trusted to perform assigned tasks according to approved SOP’s, methods, and procedures with adherence to cGMP, FDA, and corporate quality policies and regulations at our Manufacturing Facility in Johns Creek, GA. In this role, a typical day will include: Performs in-process and final product quality analyses/inspection in compliance with standards and regulatory requirements. Interprets and evaluates the analyses in terms of accuracy and precision compared against established specifications. Identifies on-going quality issues, prevents potential production issues, and makes suggestions for improvement. Uses various measuring devices, testing equipment, predetermined methods, operations, setups and prescribed specifications to accept or reject products. May work from blueprints, diagrams, dial indicators, preset micrometers, scales, fixtures, customer specifications, drawing or inspection instructions and checklists. Train analysts on internal procedures and test method.
