Analytical Chemist Speed Laboratory, Inc Norcross, GA 30093 Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Analytical Chemist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in analytical chemistry and will be responsible for conducting experiments, analyzing data, and ensuring the quality of products through rigorous testing methods. This role requires proficiency in various laboratory techniques and instrumentation, contributing to our commitment to excellence in product development and quality assurance. Responsibilities Conduct qualitative and quantitative analyses using techniques such as chromatography, spectroscopy, and microscopy. Perform routine quality control tests to ensure compliance with industry standards. Calibrate laboratory instruments and maintain accurate records of all testing procedures. Utilize Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) for data management and reporting. Implement wet chemistry techniques for sample preparation and analysis. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support product development initiatives. Document findings in detailed reports and present results to stakeholders. Maintain a clean and organized laboratory environment, adhering to safety protocols. Experience Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or a related field; advanced degrees are a plus. Proven experience in analytical chemistry within a laboratory setting. Familiarity with gas chromatography and other analytical instrumentation is preferred. Strong understanding of quality control processes and regulatory compliance. Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
