Job Description

Help shape the future of science by joining Bio-Rad as a BioPharma Genomics Field Application Scientist supporting our biopharma customers across New England. You’ll serve as a trusted scientific partner—bridging groundbreaking genomics technologies and the innovative scientists who use them. In this customer-facing role, you’ll leverage your expertise in real-time qPCR, Droplet-Digital PCR (ddPCR), and single-cell NGS to deliver pre- and post-sales technical support that drives customer success. You’ll be a key part of the sales process, collaborating closely with account managers to guide researchers toward the right solutions while demonstrating the scientific and practical value of Bio-Rad’s technologies. You’ll engage directly with leading biopharma accounts around New England, supporting customer success across the full genomics workflow—from instrument selection to data interpretation. Expect to travel up to 30% of the time to bring your expertise directly to the bench.

How You’ll Make An Impact:

You will work closely with Field Sales Representatives in support of achieving yearly sales targets. This includes performing demonstrations, product trainings, and technical seminars and presentations to individuals and groups with diverse needs and experience levels.

Specific responsibilities include:

Live demonstration of our Droplet Digital PCR and real-time qPCR instruments, software and consumables. Provide training on and assistance with data analysis, troubleshooting, and optimization for each of these technologies. Advise and assist customers with experimental design, assay design, and reporting of results. Perform occasional ‘bench work’ during trainings and demos of Bio-Rad’s genomic technologies. Support Field Sales activities including delivering application and technology driven seminars and presentations.

What You Bring:
Education:

MS in Life Sciences minimum, PhD preferred.

Work Experience:
