The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting scientific research and ensuring compliance with quality control standards. This position involves working in a research laboratory environment.
Hours:
Monday-Friday 8am-5pm
Payrate:
$26.00-$30.00 per hour
Essential Duties, Responsibilities, and Key Results Area:
Analytical Chemist Conducts material, component and product testing in such a manner to assure work progress and completion in accordance with required schedules. Develops proprietary test procedures and standards. Develops special test equipment for testing to company’s performance standards. Supervises testing activity to coordinate with suppliers, other divisions and research functions to assure completion on a timely basis. Develops advanced analytical methods to provide insight into and validate the functional performance of our products. Coordinates analysis and testing activities on materials and components with new suppliers to assure compliance with company’s performance standards. Is computer literate and comfortable with computer-controlled instrumentation and electronic databases. Assists when appropriate, with routine assigned tasks consistent with daily research center operation including shipping, receiving, lab equipment maintenance, area maintenance, 6S audits and cleanliness, etc.
Qualifications:
Analytical Chemist Bachelor of Science in Chemistry, Physics, Biology, Polymers, Textile, or Mechanical Engineering plus laboratory experience Five years in an analytical laboratory are required Hands-on lab experience, communication, records management, technical-competence, analytical problem-solving Experienced in MS Excel and MS Access as well as database management Join us in advancing scientific knowledge and contributing to impactful research! #KM1
