Associate Scientist
II SUMMARY
Responsible for providing or overseeing the analysis, administration and oversight of varied chemistry policies, programs and practices; provides feedback and guidance to regarding the analysis of materials, products and/or devices utilizing using intermediate to complex professional and technical knowledge of chemistry or related instrumentation, testing, and procedures.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS GMP
testing of pharmaceutical products including sample preparation and analysis Peer review of data Operate and basic trouble shooting of instrumentation such as HPLC, Dissolution, Karl-Fischer Titration, UV- Vis spectrophotometer, and other instruments as needed Data analysis and trending for stability studies Participate in internal quality events such as investigations and deviations Chromatography data processing and interpretation using software such as Empower General laboratory maintenance and up keep including proper hazardous waste disposal and restocking of consumables. Working on individual tasks as part of a larger team. Promotes and supports the overall mission of Pace Analytical by demonstrating courteous and cooperative behavior when interacting with customers and staff; acts in a manner that promotes a harmonious and effective workplace environment.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Experience Bachelor’s degree in chemistry/biochemistry, or a closely related field. Two (2) years of chemistry experience, including experience with complex programs or operations; OR an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Required Knowledge and Skills GMP experience, Required ALCOA principles, Required Empower 3 experience, Preferred Pharma experience, Required Ok working in a dynamic and fast paced environment Good time management and multitasking skills Attention to detail Well versed in MS Office MasterControl experience, Preferred Good understanding of statistics, Preferred Root Cause analysis experience, Preferred Pace® Life Sciences Pace® makes the world a safer, healthier place.
