We’re looking for a QC Chemist to join our team in Research Triangle Park, NC , supporting advanced cell and gene therapy programs. In this role, you’ll combine your analytical chemistry skills with a strong understanding of microbiology , aseptic techniques , and GMP compliance to help us maintain the highest standards of quality and safety in cutting-edge therapies. ????
What You’ll Do:
Perform QC analytical testing (pH, osmolality, conductivity, endotoxin, etc.) on raw materials, in-process, and final products. Support aseptic operations in cleanroom environments in collaboration with QC Microbiology. Apply microbiological knowledge to interpret test results and ensure product safety. Maintain accurate records in compliance with GMP and GDP standards. Participate in method development, validation, and transfer projects. Assist in investigations, deviations, and CAPAs related to QC activities. ?
What We’re Looking For:
Bachelor’s or Master’s in Chemistry, Microbiology, Biotechnology, or related life science field. 2+ years in a GMP-regulated QC Chemistry role (experience with cell/gene therapy is a plus). Familiarity with aseptic techniques and cleanroom operations. Strong attention to detail, communication skills, and a team-first mindset. Experience with basic microbiological concepts and collaboration across QC functions.
