Skincare R&I Manager Position Available In Bergen, New Jersey

Responsible for the development, formulation, and marketing of a wide range of innovative personal care products that include skincare and cosmetics; Manage and oversee daily operations of the skincare team and R&I projects; Provide scientific expertise and the ability to translate and present new RM/technology into products or product concepts; Conduct research to develop new formulations for customers according to sales, marketing, and customer specifications; Support active and positive communication and relationships between R&I centers in NJ and headquarters in South Korea; Manage Skincare R&I team projects; ensure all activities are performed in compliance with applicable safety and environmental regulations; Evaluate lab staff’s work products and provide guidance; schedule and direct staff on work projects; mentor, train, and discipline lab staff including lab technicians and chemists; Ensure employees follow industry standards and safety regulations for handling and disposing of test samples; Handle security documents and ensure that all information and data collected in the lab is kept safe; Communicate effectively with customers via email, conference calls, and on-site meetings; Stay current on government regulations and convey changes; Maintain close awareness of scientific literature, patents, raw material technology, processing methodology, and marketing/consumer trends; Support ODM business activities and ensure its growth.

Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry, Specialty Chemistry, or related, 24 months of related work experience and Proficiency in Korean Language OR Master’s Degree in Chemistry, Specialty Chemistry, or related and Korean Language Proficiency required.
