- Education Assistance The annual base salary or/ hourly pay range for this position is $132,000 – $143,000.

Honeywell considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate’s work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations. This position is intended to convey to the new, independent company, to be named Solstice Advanced Materials when the separation occurs. This is expected to occur in late 2025 or early 2026. The application period for the job is estimated to be 40 days from the job posting date; however, this may be shortened or extended depending on business needs and the availability of qualified candidates.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work in a team of scientist and engineers to generate novel molecules and/or compositions for energy storage applications.
- Design, plan, and execute synthetic routes for the proposed novel molecules and materials.
- Closely collaborate with the Physical Properties, Modeling and Applications teams to characterize new molecule design criteria, properties and evaluate application performance.
- Conduct bench scale chemistry experiments, safely and efficiently, and scale-up of novel molecules for customer sampling, properties and applications testing.
- Effectively document and communicate results and project progress to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior researchers in the team.
- Strict adherence to established safety policies and procedures.
Must be able wear all types of PPE and respiratory equipment as appropriate.
