HIRING A MATERIALS SCIENTIST
!Job Description We are seeking a highly detail-oriented Materials Scientist to join our innovative team. This role involves working in a dynamic startup environment focused on leveraging artificial intelligence to drive growth and development. The successful candidate will contribute to cutting-edge research and development activities in a laboratory setting. Responsibilities + Manually alloy, mount, and count metal samples. + Prepare and handle samples with precision. + Maintain a comprehensive understanding of lab safety principles. + Keep meticulous records of experiments and findings. Essential Skills + Bachelor’s degree in Physical or Life Sciences, with a preference for Materials Science. + 1-2 years of laboratory experience. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience in pipetting, particularly in a biology lab. + Experience in preparing or sample testing metals. + Prior experience in a research and development or materials testing laboratory. + Familiarity with metallic materials and metallurgy. Work Environment The work environment is a small yet vibrant company with a team of 20 individuals, including a collaborative group of 3-4 technicians and scientists. The role offers an 8-hour shift within flexible hours from 8am to 7pm, with no weekend work required. The company provides a competitive pay and a comprehensive benefits package upon direct employment. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $38.00 – $50.00/hr.
