QC Chemist

II – DPI

Purpose:

The job of the Chemist is simplydescribed as an individual contributor who performs testing ofsamples of various types using various techniques or equipment inthe QC laboratory. The job itself may be further modified withrespect to the department, group, etc., as exemplified in the”Department ” on an individual assigned basis to asometimes-specific testing group. The role may be further modifiedbased upon individual education, training, experience or acombination of all three. Responsibilities Conduct routine testingor other analysis in a specific group or department setting.

Conduct advanced testing and/or critical testing, as required.

Operate specialized equipment or conduct specialized skill testingWorking knowledge of raw materials testing and release Workingknowledge of instruments such as Karl Fisher, HPLC, GC, Particlesize, ICP Lead investigation activities. Ensure compliance to alldata integrity and cGMP practices, procedures, and expect Ensurecompliance with all good documentation practices. RequirementsBachelor’s degree (BS or BA), physical sciences preferredProficiently speak English as a first or second languageProficiently communicate and understand (read and write) scientificwork in English Have excellent organization, learning and teachingskills required to work in teams Ability to understand and analyzecomplex data sets. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programsand other scientific based software. Experience in Inhalationproducts (MDI) is a plus Able to wear appropriate personalprotective equipment at all times, when required.

Salary:
