Job DescriptionThe ideal candidate would possess the following skills:
Perform physical, chemical, and instrumental analysis of medical device productsRun the instrumentation independently including, but not limited to, various chromatographic systems (HPLC, IC & GC), UV/Spec, various wet chemistry analyses, FT-IR, ICP, DSC and dissolution apparatusConsult with clients to understand their testing needsDevelop and adapt specialized PFAS testing for client specific projectsPreparing samples for analysis and running instrumentation with minimum supervisionSet up and validate new analytical or related processes used by the departmentPrepare standards and samples for analysisExecute method transfer protocolsDocument work as required for GMP compliancePerform monthly maintenance of laboratory equipment
QualificationsMinimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree preferred in chemistry, biochemistry, or related degree concentration3 years of industry experience using chromatography in an Environmental or cGMP environment3 years of industry experience with PFAS testing or characterizationExperience operating CIC and HPLC systems.
Experience with Solid Phase ExtractionExperience with ISO 10993 and/or
ISO 18562
testingExperience in a cGMP, GLP, and/or
ISO 17025
compliant/accredited lab.
Experience with method development and validationPolymeric and/or PFAS experience/educationAuthorization to work in the US without immediate or future sponsorship.
Additional InformationPositions are full-time, working (Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:00pm), overtime as needed. Candidates currently living within commutable distance to Lancaster, PA are encouraged to apply.
