laboratory Scale unit operations relatedto biopharmaceutical manufacturing (preculture, cell culture,harvest, bioreactors, columns, mixing (up to 5L)m Spectroscopy, PATsensors, infrared and Raman spectroscopy.

• Cell Cultureexperience, coursework in analytical chemistry, biology, physicalchemistry, and statistics Emerging Technologies, ManufacturingScience and Technology (MSAT) is currently looking for a Scientistto support laboratory operations in a sandbox innovation laboratoryto support pharmaceutical manufacturing.
• The candidate will beresponsible for conducting laboratory experiments designed toevaluate new manufacturing process technology for biopharmaceuticalmanufacturing.
• Experiments also include the use of ProcessAnalytical Technology (PAT) sensors to replace traditional QC labtesting.
• The candidate will support small scale manufacturingunit operations (i.e. bioreactors, mixing tanks, columns, etc.).
• The candidate will also be responsible for summarizing and auditingdata as part of notebook protocols in several different datasystems.
• The candidate will also support laboratory operationfunctions that includes overseeing equipment maintenance,calibration, laboratory safety inspections, equipment qualificationand work instructions, and consumable point of use purchase orders.
• Qualified candidates must have the ability to work independentlyand as part of a team.
• Written communications in the form ofreports, Excel spreadsheets, and PowerPoint presentations isrequired.
• Good verbal and written communication skills a must.
• 0-5 years experience.
