Education Minimum:
BS or MS or Ph.D. in Analytical Chemistry orrelated discipline Required Experience and Skills Hands-onanalytical laboratory experience-e.g., wet chemistry,chromatography Experience collecting and analyzing raw data,preparing graphs and other visualization tools to help interpretresults Familiarity with statistics Demonstrated strong verbal aswell as written communication skills and ability to work in aninterdisciplinary team environment.
Preferred Experience andSkills:
Working knowledge of laboratory GMP, quality, complianceand data integrity requirements and related recent industry trendsWorking knowledge of troubleshooting analytical techniques (e.g.,chromatography, dissolution, spectroscopy, etc). Demonstratedability to work independently in the laboratory Expertise in LiquidChromatography (HPLC/UPLC) and dissolution Hands-on experience withchromatographic integration and with Empower software (or otherchromatographic data acquisition systems) and Electronic LaboratoryNotebook (ELN) Working knowledge of statistics and tools, e.g.,statistical data treatment and/or Excel or Minitab. Experienced inconducting comparative and or multi-media dissolution studies.
Qualifications:
We are currently seeking a temporary scientist foran immediate onsite position within the Analytical Sciences (AS)laboratory within Science and Technology at Organon. The successfulcandidate will be expected to perform analytical testing of drugproducts and APIs under the supervision of a senior scientist. Thecandidate will have a good understanding of the technical,regulatory, and GMP needs related to drug product development. Theposition will report to the Senior Leadership of the AnalyticalSciences laboratory located at the Spring House, Pennsylvanialocation. Strong technical background with a problem-solving skillset as well as the ability to work in teams are consideredessential.
Position Responsibilities:
Perform analytical testing(e.g., HPLC/UPLC and dissolution) of drug products Perform dataanalysis (chromatography/spectroscopy) and present them to the teamin a timely manner Top skills: 1) HPLC Chromatography andDissolution 2) Wet Chemistry, solution, and sample preparation 3)Troubleshooting Someone with a background in Pharmaceutical and GMPwould be highly preferred. Experience with
EMPOWER, WATERS
softwarewould be a great plus, a bit of graphical representation andstatistical understanding would also be preferred. Should have ananalytical mindset in order to present the findings in front of thestakeholders. Experience with Electronic Lab Notebook is preferred.
