Quality Analytical Chemist Position Type:
Full-Time, Salary Exempt Schedule:

Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Eastern)

Director of Quality About the Role We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly motivated Analytical Chemist to join our Quality team. This role is ideal for a scientist who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced lab environment and is passionate about ensuring product quality and innovation. You’ll play a vital role in developing methods, maintaining instrumentation, and driving process improvements that directly impact product performance and customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities Set up, calibrate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory instrumentation Coordinate equipment servicing and repairs with vendors Develop, validate, and implement analytical methods to ensure accurate and reliable test results Support method transfers and provide technical guidance during process development Investigate and troubleshoot quality deviations, out-of-spec results, and product issues Maintain detailed and organized documentation, including lab notebooks, reports, and data logs Prepare, review, and revise SOPs and analytical protocols as needed Train lab personnel on analytical techniques, instrumentation, and safety practices Conduct stability testing and recommend appropriate product storage conditions Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory guidelines, including hazardous material handling Collaborate with external labs and suppliers to resolve quality concerns and uphold standards Contribute to continuous improvement efforts within the Quality department Qualifications Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Analytical Chemistry or related field 3-5 years of hands-on experience in analytical chemistry or product claims testing Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to clearly present findings and collaborate cross-functionally Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Chempax, eChempax, and instrument-specific software Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds as needed What We’re Looking For Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple projects with minimal supervision Strong understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills A team player with a continuous improvement mindset and a commitment to high-quality work Why Join Us?
