Job Summary
Baptist MD Anderson Cancer Center is seeking a fellowship-trained Breast Surgeon to join our growing multidisciplinary Breast Oncology Program. The Section of Breast Surgical Oncology currently includes four other dedicated breast surgeons within the Division of Surgical Oncology.
A successful candidate will be fully supported in developing a rewarding clinical practice in breast oncology alongside a multidisciplinary team of employed physicians and advance practice providers at Baptist MD Anderson Cancer Center in Jacksonville, FL
Baptist MD Anderson is a national partner chosen to replicate University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center’s multidisciplinary model of cancer patient care within the MD Anderson Cancer Network(r).
About our Breast Surgery Program
No general surgery call. d breast oncology call with 4 other breast surgeons.
1:1 Advanced Practice Provider support.
NAPBC and ACR accredited full-service Breast Imaging Center with dedicated Breast Radiologists and wireless localization technology.
Well established high-risk breast clinic and survivorship program.
Program supported by breast navigation, genetic counseling, lymphedema therapists and psychological and social services.
We have

EPIC EMR.

Plastic Surgeons who are highly skilled in microvascular autologous flaps and LYMPHA.
Practice patient-centered multidisciplinary integrated model of care at a state-of-the-art facility at the region’s most preferred health system.
Breast Oncology OR block time.
Excellent clinical research support with multiple open clinical trials.

Requirements
Completion of an SSO/ASBrS accredited fellowship in Breast Surgical Oncology.
MD/DO and unrestricted FL medical license.
Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Surgery.
Experienced physicians and current fellows are encouraged to apply.
