The Clinical Research Coordinator conducts clinical research activities under the supervision of the Principal Investigator and Site Director by assisting with the implementation, execution, and monitoring of research studies. This role involves close collaboration with research teams, study participants, and medical professionals to ensure the successful collection and management of clinical data in compliance with regulatory and ethical guidelines.
Clinical Research Coordinator Responsibilities:
- Conducts, plans, organizes, and manages trial-related activities based on protocol guidelines.
- Coordinates and performs research study associated activities under the supervision of the Principal Investigator.
- Assist in project planning and ensuring that study protocol and regulatory requirements are followed.
- Provide education and guidance to participants on study procedures and expectations.
- Coordinate and schedule, track, and complete study activities in preparation for and during the clinical trial. These activities include subject recruitment, collection of samples and preparation of samples under the coordinator’s supervision and the guidance of the Principal Investigator.
- Maintain study files, including source documents, study protocols, and Correspondence related to trials.
- Collect and record accurate clinical data as required by study protocols.
Clinical Research Coordinator Qualifications:
- Knowledge of medical terminology.
- Strong computer skills, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Work well in a team environment
- Strong communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage complex data
- Willing to travel to other locations
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Fluent in English & Spanish
Car Required Work Environment:
- The position may involve working in clinical, office, and/or laboratory settings.
- Occasional travel may be required to attend training or visit study sites.
- Flexibility to work extended hours, including mornings, evenings and weekends, based on study needs.
