Felton Drive, East Point, GA 30344 Job Overview We are seeking a reliable Medical Assistant (MA) eager to learn and grow in clinical research. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience as a Medical Assistant (MA). Phlebotomy skills are required, and Spanish fluency is a plus. The goal of this position is to train the Medical Assistant to transition into a Clinical Research Coordinator (CRC) role within 12-24 months. Responsibilities Ensure compliance with study protocols, regulations, and timely reporting of adverse events. Manage inventory and order necessary supplies. Pack and ship lab specimens in accordance with regulations. Maintain and organize laboratory resources, including freezers and research areas. Oversee office equipment, ensuring maintenance and troubleshooting when needed. Assist with administrative tasks such as scheduling participant visits, study procedures, managing participant informed consent and follow-ups documents. Resolving data queries from sponsors and monitors, maintaining source documents and case report forms (CRFs). Collect and document vital signs, blood samples, and EKGs. Follow up with study participants regarding appointments and diary entries. Foster relationships with sponsors, patients, and vendors. Utilize problem-solving skills to address routine challenges. Perform additional duties as assigned.
