Overview Our client is seeking a full-time Hematology/Oncology Physician to join their team in Alexandria, LA. The ideal candidate will have experience in providing specialized care to patients with hematologic and oncologic conditions. This role offers a strong starting base salary, loan forgiveness, and the opportunity to work with a team of experienced professionals in a scenic area of Louisiana. Key Responsibilities
- Provide Hematology/Oncology care to patients
- Participate in clinical trials and research activities
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals
- Ensure high-quality patient care Schedule and Shift Details
- Monday-Thursday 8am-5pm, Friday 8am-12pm, Flexibility for 4 day work week, Call is 1:2, 1 week call at a time, not heavy call, no hospital call, 80% Outpatient 20% inpatient, 70% Oncology 30% Hematology, Most imaging and labs are done onsite, Oncology – even split between breast, colon, lung, prostate, Hematology – sickle cell and leukemia are shipped out Qualifications Required Doctorate degree Valid Medical Doctor (MD) in Louisiana (LA) Valid Board Certified 1+ years of experience in ALL of the following: Hematology Oncology Benefits Student Loan Repayment Company Our client is a CHG working with a facility/clinic in Irving, TX.
