Onboarding:
Clinical Research Coordinators (CRCs) oversee our industry-sponsored psychology and neurology trials. The role entails managing all aspects of study operations, including monitoring participant progress from the time of screening through to the end of trial participation, performing study procedures according to sponsor-provided protocols, ensuring compliance with Good Clinical Practice (GCP), and communicating trial progress and data collection with industry sponsors. CRCs initially complete a 4-6 week onboarding process. CRCs receive training on medical procedures, increasing in complexity to a point where CRCs feel most comfortable, including the opportunity to learn how to safely perform phlebotomy, electrocardiograms, and other medical procedures. Coordinators will develop their communication skills in clinical settings, engaging with participants, caregivers, and a diverse clinical team. As part of their development, coordinators gain hands-on experience in neuropsychiatric interviewing techniques and have the opportunity to shadow experienced CRCs during industry-sponsored study visits. The program ensures a thorough understanding of good clinical practice and the day-to-day operations of clinical research studies. Throughout the onboarding process, CRCs participate in small-group training sessions led by our physicians, fostering a collaborative learning environment. This multifaceted training ensures that Clinical Research Coordinators are well-equipped to support the successful execution of our clinical research studies. This position is well suited for applicants planning on attending a graduate program in psychology, nursing, or medical school within the next few years, and also offers growth opportunities for those interested in pursuing careers within the research industry.
