• Lang Research Center Join our team as a Research Coordinator and play a key role in the implementation of clinical trials at NYPQ. In this position, you will be responsible for:
• Screen and recruit participants in various studies
• Assist with Informed Consent process and ensure patient understanding of study requirements
• Perform study-related tests and procedures
• Collect and manage research data
• Track study participant’s progress throughout the study
• Monitor patient safety and report any issues to Principal Investigator and study team
• Assist with regulatory compliance following NYPQ policies and federal regulations
• Develop and edit educational materials for distribution
• Participate in special projects and perform other duties as required
• Ensure compliance with research protocols and regulations, and maintain effective communication with patients and their families
• Communicate updates and challenges and collaborate with the research study team and Principal Investigator to ensure successful execution of clinical trials Required Criteria
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in business administration health care administration or related field.
• Minimum of three years of progressively responsible project coordination experience preferably in a research setting
• Proficiency in using various Microsoft Office applications such as Word Excel Access Power Point and Outlook Familiar with Internet applications
• Effective oral written communication interpersonal skills
• Ability to interface effectively with all levels of management and must work and communicate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders
• Ability to work within a team environment as well as independently
• Time management skills and ability to multitask
• Ability to work well under pressure Preferred Criteria
• Clinical Research Coordinator CRC Certification is preferred
• Knowledge of basic medical terminology is preferred
