The Division of Hematology and Oncology at Vanderbilt UniversityMedical Center is seeking board-certified/board eligiblehematologist-oncologists for melanoma and lung cancer. Theindividuals selected will be academically oriented and appointed tothe full-time faculty as either an Assistant or Associate Professorin the School of Medicine at Vanderbilt University.

The successfulcandidate(s) will have experience in caring for patients withmelanoma or lung cancer, with interest and/or experience conductingclinical trials in these diseases.

Junior faculty and new fellowshipgraduates will join the faculty and receive dedicated mentoring inclinical research, and experienced clinical researchers (AssociateProfessor level) will have opportunities to mentor junior facultyand fellows in these areas.

The selected individual(s) will workclosely with the Chief of the Division of Hematology/Oncology anddisease group section leader to further develop a clinical trialportfolio, and conduct clinical and translational research. Formelanoma candidates, there is potential to rise to melanoma groupsection leader.

The ideal candidate(s) will be a dedicatedclinician, clinical researcher, who would enjoy participating in arobust training program of residents and fellows, and growing to atop-notch research program in melanoma or lung cancer.
