The University of Tennessee, Graduate School of Medicine basedin Knoxville, Tennessee seeks a dynamic GI medical Oncologist and aGU medical Oncologist to join the faculty as a member of the GUmalignancy program. The Division of Hematology Oncology is a partof the department of medicine and dedicated to the tripartitemission of clinical care, research and education. The candidatemust possess strong leadership and organizational skills and aninterest in clinical trials. A track record of substantive clinicalresearch and scholarly activity is highly preferred. This positionis a non-tenure track, academic appointment. Academic rank,compensation and appointments will be commensurate with applicant sexperience and qualifications. The division of Hematology Oncology is a rapidly growing divisionwithin the department of medicine. The Cancer Institute hasregistered over 70,000 patient visits with over 3,000 new patientswith cancer diagnosed annually. In-hospital consultations areprovided at UT Medical Center, a leading regional academic medicalcenter. The chosen individuals will be supported by protected timefor research, an active clinical trials infrastructure and strongprograms in urology, surgical oncology, GU pathology, GI pathologyand radiation oncology. The candidates must be board certified by the American Board ofInternal Medicine in Medical Oncology and/or Hematology. Candidatesmust have a commitment to diversity and equal opportunity.

Qualifications include eligibility to obtain a license to practicemedicine in Tennessee. Candidates with international visa statuswill be considered on an individual basis.
