February 18-March 19, 2025The Department of Medicine is seekingapplications for a full-time faculty clinical investigatorclinician-research track position for the Division ofHematology/Oncology at the Assistant/Associate/Full Professorlevel. This position seeks an ABIM certified (or eligible)hematologist-oncologist with experience in hematologic malignanciesand blood and marrow transplantation and an active interest in thedevelopment and conduct of clinical trials. This individual willhave a primarily clinical assignment, but will also be expected todevelop, conduct, and participate in clinical trials and othercollaborative research involving patients with hematologicmalignancies, blood and marrow transplantation, and cellularimmunotherapy.
The successful candidate will ideally have thetraining and some experience in developing investigator-initiatedclinical trials and interacting with laboratory scientists fortranslational research. Resources provided are competitive salary,protected time, and the resources of the Cancer Center clinicalresearch office, which provides study coordinators, regulatorysupport, and biostatistical support. We have a culture thatstrongly supports conduct of clinical trials, and we enter nearly15% of all new patients to treatment interventional trials.

TheProgram Director (PD) will lead all aspects of the BMT programincluding education, research, accreditation, and clinicalprogramming. The BMT Director will serve as the Program Directorfor both adult and pediatric hematopoietic cellular therapy inaccordance with
FACT-JACIE
Standards and other state and federalregulations. The BMT Director will provide leadership foradministrative and clinical operations, compliance of program withFoundation for Accreditation of Cellular Therapies (FACT) standardsand other regulations/policies.
Minimum Requirements:
Applicantsmust be board-certified or board eligible in Medical Oncologyand/or Hematology and be eligible for a Florida Medical License.
