Position Overview:
The State of North Carolina’s Department of Health and Human Services is seeking an expert Epic Clinical Project Manager to lead the implementation and transition of a new Electronic Health Record (EHR) system. This role is critical for modernizing clinical applications across state-operated healthcare facilities and ensuring a smooth transition from legacy systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead planning, coordination, and execution of Epic EHR implementation for Clinical modules. Oversee modules including IP ClinDoc (Secure Chat, Rover), Case Management, Orders, Behavioral Health, Long-Term Care, Willow IP & Ambulatory, Inventory, EpicCare Link, Wisdom, MyChart, Healthy Planet, and Bugsy. Coordinate with program directors, project managers, stakeholders, and vendors. Maintain scope, schedule, and project quality for the Clinical EHR build team. Engage and align business community with technical teams. Mentor team members and communicate project priorities and progress. Troubleshoot and resolve implementation and system integration issues. Act as a liaison between clinical teams and Epic implementation staff. Document progress and maintain State CIO and

reporting using MS Project Server. Drive user training, support go-lives, and manage stakeholder expectations.
