Job Description:
- Examine chemical manufacturing process to prepare permits, licenses, applications, and records to ensure compliance with federal and state environmental requirements.
- Review and analyze chemical components and engineering specifications used during the manufacturing of engineering plastics for automotive parts to protect public and environment pollution.
- Verify and ensure that hazardous chemicals are disposed in accordance with regulations to protect environmental pollution impact.
- Prepare and document various environmental permit applications in conformance with Federal, State, and local regulations for manufacturing activities.
- Inspect and maintain chemical disposal process and systems for conformance to federal, state, or local regulations.
- Ensure safe handling of chemical compounds and chemical materials that may be deemed hazardous and polluting.
