We are seeking Entry Level Environmental Analysts for the Gainesville, FL. Positions are located in Gainesville, FL and surrounding areas. Responsibilities:
Inspections of erosion and sediment control measures at commercial, residential, industrial and highway construction projects in Gainesville, FL and surrounding areas. Field investigation, documentation and report writing. Account management; daily interaction with clients and client subcontractors. Reviewing and updating of stormwater pollution prevention plans (SWPPPs) for construction sites. Other tasks include scientist/engineer related work, as appropriate by applicant’s background and discipline, such as NPDES, CERCLA, RCRA, Environmental, Hydrological and Geotechnical related work. Qualifications and Skills B.S. or B.A. in Civil/Environmental/Agricultural Engineering, Environmental Science, Hydrology, Geology, or related field experience required. If you have the right field experience and can demonstrate that you have the desire and possess the intellectual capacity, then these degree requirements may be waived. A successful applicant will have strong work ethic, a sound technical foundation and a desire for professional registration as soon as they are qualified. CISEC, CPESC or ability to qualify for testing of CISEC or CPESC preferred (not required). Basic computer skills including competency with all Microsoft office programs The ability to incorporate integrity, honesty and common sense with the written regulations, sound science and each client’s unique business model.
