Environmental Services Specialist Manatee Memorial Hospital Bradenton, FL 34208 Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards in various settings, including commercial spaces and healthcare facilities. This role requires a commitment to providing a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants. Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of assigned areas, including floors, restrooms, offices, and common areas. Utilize appropriate cleaning techniques and equipment to ensure high standards of cleanliness. Sanitate surfaces and fixtures to prevent the spread of germs and maintain health standards. Conduct floor care activities such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing. Follow OSHA regulations and safety protocols while handling cleaning chemicals and equipment. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor promptly. Assist in inventory management of cleaning supplies and equipment. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient completion of tasks. Skills Proficiency in commercial cleaning techniques and practices. Knowledge of OSHA regulations related to cleaning and sanitation. Experience in custodial or environmental services is preferred. Strong attention to detail with a focus on maintaining cleanliness standards. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Good communication skills to interact effectively with staff and clients. Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks that may require lifting, bending, or standing for extended periods.
