Lead Environmental Performance & Strategy Position Summary:

Support the day-to-day environmental operations including transfer and integration of new Royal Caribbean Group (RCG) assets ships and the advancement of initiatives related to shipboard operations shipboard technologies and management systems Assists with the development administration and analysis of environmental regulatory and operational management policies and procedures for RCG ships both at sea and while in over 1000+ ports-of-call and provides day-to-day support to the shipboard teams on Environmental matters Essential Duties and Responsibilities Support the advancement of Environmental Stewardship initiatives and strategic goals related to shipboard operations including but not limited to Waste & Chemical Management Water & Wastewater and Energy & Air Oversees wastewater practices of RCG vessels from generation to discharge identifying best management tracking analysis and reporting as well as improving source reduction and reuseReviews the annual wastewater management data and reports progress in meeting Environmental Management System (ISO 14001) Objectives and Targets KPIs and long-term corporate goals Contributes to EPA-required reporting and NOI permits for the fleet Reviews requests from the fleet regarding exemptions from

criteria when an environmental benefit can be proven Assists with training and providing support to Environmental Officers and other shipboard officers as needed including coordination of Environmental Officers Level I & II Conference Monitor the environmental performance of the various ships in the fleet and facilitating activities related to environmental incident prevention response and reporting Provide Support to the fleet on a rotational basis through the Environmental Duty Phone Support the transfer and integration of RCG assets Oversee the Environmental Stewardship Information Management System (ESIMS) including granting and maintaining access Support ship environmental operations and compliance including related management tools for the RCG fleet Facilitate RCL Chemical Management Program including coordination with Supply Chain Marine Operations and Shipboard Management May require up to 20% travel time Note that there are multiple Environmental Operations Analysts supporting the Environmental Stewardship department Individual responsibilities will be assigned by the Manager Environmental Operations based on the business needs of the department Performs other duties as required This job description in no way states or implies that these are the only duties to be performed by the employee occupying this position Employees will be required to perform any other job-related duties assigned by their supervisor or management Qualifications Knowledge and Skills Four-year bachelor’s degree in environmental management policy earth or physical sciences (ie marine biology chemistry etc) sustainability or related field; 3-5 years operational experience in shoreside or shipboard environmental safety or public health management preferred

Knowledge And Skills:

Strong communication presentation training and facilitation skills Strong understanding of technical system and their integration to processes Ability to develop plan and organize tactical plans utilizing project management principles Knowledge of international regional and national maritime environmental laws and regulations required such as IMO/MARPOL and US Federal environmental regulations Knowledge of

ISO 9001

2000 and

ISO 14001
