AGEISS Inc. We are seeking to place an Environmental Specialist to support programs at Hurlburt

AFB, FL.JOB DESCRIPTION

• Environmental professional to provide on-site support.
• Management of hazardous materials, hazardous waste collection, labeling, storage and shipments;
• Use of

EESOH-MIS

for tracking hazardous waste and hazardous materials, approving processes, preparing shipments, data pulls and ad-hoc reporting

• Support of Hazardous Material (HM) program, including training
• Monthly and quarterly HW and HM shop inspections
• Assist with compilation of monthly report of office activities
• Customer support including answering phones and emails

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Associates degree or higher in environmental engineering, sciences, or other related area.
• 3 years of experience in environmental compliance, restoration or other related support.
• Working knowledge of Federal environmental statutes and State-specific regulations pertaining to HW and HM
• Familiarity with OSHA, Air Force, and Installation Storage, Handling, and Transportation regulations.;
• Ability to drive forklifts, trucks, and operate warehouse tools and equipment (i.e. drum lifts, pallet jack, etc.)
• Strong written and oral communication skills and proficiency with MS Office applications (Word and Excel) is required
• Individuals already possessing an adjudicated National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI) are preferred or the ability to successfully pass a federal agency background check is required
• Prior Air Force experience preferred
• Valid Driver’s License required
