Computational fluid dynamics (CFD) modeling
Hydrologic and hydraulic (H&H) modeling, analysis, and calculations
Scripting workflows / model outputs
Preparation of technical reports (e.g., modeling and analyses reports)
Education and Licensure
Bachelor’s degree in environmental or civil engineering, or related field. (required)
Advanced degree in environmental or civil engineering, or related field. (Strongly preferred)
Skills, Experience and Qualifications
Prior internship experience in consulting. (preferred)
At least 2 years of relevant experience or equivalentbination of education and experience. (preferred)
Excellent written and verbalmunication skills. (required)
Courses inputational methods. (preferred)
Proficiency in scripting (e.g., Python). (required)
Proficiency inputational fluid dynamics. (preferred)
Proficiency in hydrology and hydraulics modeling. (preferred)
Proficiency in Auto CAD and 3D modeling. (preferred)
Proficiency in GIS. (preferred)
Regular field work (10%) and overnight travel (5%). (required)
Health & Safety training, medical monitoring, and client-driven drug and background testing. (required)
Valid U.S. driver’s license and a satisfactory driving record for business travel. (required) This opportunity will be posted for at least five days. Below are the potentialpensation ranges that we in good faith believe are applicable for this role at the time of this posting and are only applicable for jobs to be performed in the specified location(s) below. The typical base salary range for this position is just oneponent of Geosyntec’s totalpensation package for employees. Actualpensation will be determined based on education, experience, skill set and location.
