Trileaf Corporation is a nationwide environmental, architecture, and engineering consulting firm that assists clients with environmental due diligence, regulatory compliance, engineering & architectural design. Trileaf serves the wireless communications, commercial real estate, financial, retail, restaurant, and c-store industries from its headquarters in St. Louis, MO and multiple branch offices throughout the U.S. Trileaf is seeking a full time Environmental Project Scientist on our Commercial team. This in-office position is located at our corporate office in St.
Louis, MO Key Responsibilities:
Travel to project location, take detailed notes and photographs of site (1 to 2 days per week) Conducting interviews, in person, via email, and phone Ordering & analyzing government database records Performing regulatory agency file reviews Reviewing historical data (including topographic maps, Sanborn fire insurance maps, city directories, and aerial photographs) Drafting of a standardized report using information from these various sources Perform QA/QC to the satisfaction of both management and clients Completing requested revisions & submitting report within pre-established timelines Conducting field work to collect samples of potentially contaminated subsurface media (soil, groundwater, and soil vapor) and/or indoor air Compare analytical contaminant data collected to applicable regulatory standards
Basic Qualifications:
To be considered, the resume of the applicant must demonstrate the following qualifications/skills: Attention to detail Strong work ethic Valid driver license Capable of field work Ability and willingness to travel; expected to be 25% (travel not expected to exceed 2-3 days at a time) Good computer skills 0-2 years of experience Technical report review and preparation Strong written and verbal communication skills Independent worker Commitment to excellence Phase I Assessments NEPA Assessments Preferred Qualifications /
