We believe that children learn best through exploration, interaction with their environment, and meaningful experiences. We are currently seeking an Outdoor Education Teacher to guide our students through outdoor learning experiences that connect them with nature, foster teamwork, and encourage environmental stewardship.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement outdoor education programs that align with Reggio-inspired principles. Encourage hands-on learning through outdoor exploration and environmental projects. Create opportunities for children to connect with nature, build physical skills, and develop an understanding of environmental sustainability. Collaborate with classroom teachers to integrate outdoor education with other curriculum areas. Foster a safe and supportive environment for outdoor learning and adventure. Actively participate in school events, professional development, and parent engagement initiatives.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Education, Environmental Education, or related field. Experience in outdoor education, environmental science, or similar field, ideally in early childhood settings. Knowledge of Reggio Emilia principles and their application in outdoor settings is preferred. Strong communication, organizational, and collaborative skills. Passion for nature and fostering a love of the outdoors in young learners.
