OVERVIEW

EnviroSouth, Inc., a well-established environmental consulting firm with offices in Greenville and Charleston, South Carolina, is seeking a motivated individual to be a key team member working on petroleum/solvent contamination assessment and remediation cases, commercial and industrial property transactions, and Brownfield site development projects. The successful candidate must be self-motivated, team-oriented, and have a high level of written and oral communications skills.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Perform Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments Conduct field work, soil and groundwater sampling, and technical report writing Coordinate site/equipment construction activities, implement health and safety procedures, oversee subcontractor services and other field related activities Perform environmental drilling oversight, well installation, analytical sampling, gauging and surveying activities, operation and maintenance of remediation systems Manage field activity logs for inclusion into technical reports Perform geo-environmental and laboratory data evaluation Produce reports with tabular and graphical presentation of data (contouring, mapping, cross sections) Assist in the design of groundwater remediation systems Assisting with the distribution of meeting minutes, project action item lists, internal tracking of projects activities and general project coordination activities in support of project managers

REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Geology and/or applicable Environmental Sciences Experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, and AutoCAD/ArcGIS (preferred) Experience supporting the investigation and characterization of subsurface contamination is preferred Excellent written and oral communication skills Candidate must have ability to work independently with minimal supervision Ability to work in a team-oriented environment with field, executive, and office staff Ability to become OSHA 40-hr.

HAZWOPER

certified Willingness to travel to sites in a 4-state service area (SC, NC, GA, and TN).
