Role:
Provide support to Gas Systems Engineering staff by utilizing strong customer service, project management, engineering, and data analysis skills to collaborate with internal and external partners to support and enhance KUB’s sustainability initiatives. Duties may include but are not limited to developing and/or updating program metrics, documentation, and presentations; researching, reviewing and determining technical specifications for equipment, completing emissions calculations, assisting with educational/promotional programs to promote sustainability, and assisting with award applications and Environmental, Social, and Governance reporting and carbon accounting. Must be flexible in performing daily tasks and accept additional duties, as needed.
Qualifications Physical Requirements:
Primarily sedentary work: exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently-to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time, but may involve bending, stooping, reaching, walking or standing for brief periods of time. May also require walking up to five miles per day over rough and/or hilly terrain when assisting with field inspections. Requires above normal mental and visual alertness quite frequently.
Position may require ability to:
drive vehicles and work in all types of weather, with exposure to equipment and machine noise, dirt and traffic.
Minimum Requirements:
Must have and maintain full-time student status at an accredited college or university pursuing an Associates, Bachelor’s, or graduate-level degree in an Engineering discipline Have and maintain a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 2.5 or higher Have and maintain a valid driver’s license Must be able to work a minimum of 15 hours per week, Monday through Friday, between 7:00 am
- 5:00 pm Strong oral and written communication skills Must possess basic computer skills
Preferred Requirements:
