Job Description:
Our client is seeking a motivated individual with a strong work ethic and a passion for environmental fieldwork to join their current team and help conduct complaince inspections related to illegal sewage discharges, water quality violations, water wells, and / or fish kills in their local community.
Responsibilities:
Conduct site visits for compliance inspections, sampling, and reporting Perform occasional field testing for contaminants like E.coli Interpret environmental regulations and apply them to real-world scenarios Maintain accurate digital records, reports, and permit files Communicate effectively with internal teams, contractors, and the public
Qualifications:
Bachelors’ of Science in Chemistry, Biology, Soil Science, or related field Hands on experience or coursework in wastewater, biodiversity, EPA regualtions, soil mechanics, geotechnical systems, hydrology, GIS, or agricultural sciences Experience or strong foundational knowledge in septic system installation Prior experience conducting sample testing Strong work ethic and eagerness to learn Willing to be outside for long-periods of the day in hot or cold weather
