Description

Summary:

This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working independently after a thorough training period. The position involves a variety of facilities tasks, including crossover areas and occasional landscaping/grounds work as needed.
As a Housekeeping Staff member at Birch Bay Retirement Village, you’ll have the unique opportunity to interact with our wonderful residents. Requirements

Education, Training, or Certifications Required:

High School/GED graduate
Valid driver’s license

Experience Required:

Experience in healthcare or hospitality housekeeping is preferred but not required.
Commitment to working as a member of a team
Strong customer service skills

Special Requirements:

Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision after the training period

Physical Demands:

Able to lift and carry 50 lbs.
Able to work with cleaning chemicals

Environment:

Works indoors and outdoors in a variety of temperatures and weather conditions
Occasionally works in physically confined spaces
