Environmental Technician Job Description Join a dynamic and fast-growing environmental services firm as an Environmental Technician Foreman. We are seeking individuals passionate about environmental services to support our diverse clientele in higher education, life sciences, healthcare, and industrial sectors. While prior experience in the environmental field is preferred, we are committed to training the right candidates. Responsibilities Manage hazardous and chemical waste programs for clients onsite, ensuring compliance with Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA), Department of Transportation (DOT), and other state and federal regulations. Provide onsite support for the lifecycle of hazardous materials management programs, including chemical inventories, segregation, and off-site waste shipment. Perform and document environmental health and safety audits for clients using Triumvirate’s ADVISE program. Develop a thorough understanding of OSHA regulations and internal health and safety practices. Essential Skills Maintain good attendance and punctuality. Flexibility with working schedule as start and end times may vary. Strong working knowledge of computer software programs supporting operations. Provide high-quality and professional customer service. Assist Program Manager as needed, demonstrating flexibility in daily responsibilities. Additional Skills & Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent required; AS or BS Degree preferred in environmental-related fields. Basic knowledge of, or interest in, the environmental field profession. Self-motivated with a desire to learn and build a career. Leadership experience or potential. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Clayton, North Carolina. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $22.00 – $24.00/hr.
