Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is hiring a contract Lab Technician I for our Scientific partner in Florence, SC.
The anticipated hourly wage for this position is $15 hourly. Hourly wage may depend upon experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Summary:

Assists and supports research laboratory operations by daily housekeeping of the laboratories, including waste disposal, cleaning/drying/storing of glassware, maintaining chemical inventory, maintaining laboratory supply wall, working to ensure all the laboratories are inpliance with safety and regulatory rules, assisting in lab research operations, etc.

Essential Functions:

• Follows all Standard Operating Procedures, and Environmental Health & Safety requirements
• Cleaning/drying/storing of glassware
• Maintains chemical inventory
• Maintains supply wall
• Assists with hazardous waste disposal
• Complete all required documentation in apliant manner
• Actively engages and assists coworkers to be a valuable team member
• Independentlyanizes workspace for maximum efficiency
• Performs work in a proactive manner
• Manage time efficiently toplete tasks in a safe andpliant manner
• Maintains work areas and laboratory spaces in a clean andpliant manner
• Must be able to adopt schedule and priorities to meet business needs
• Perform other duties as required
• Comply with all applicable safety and security procedures
• potentially unsafe conditions

Education:

High School Diploma or equivalent

Experience:

No prior experiences are required. Equivalentbinations of education, training, and relevant work experience may be considered.

Competencies:

Effectivemunication across all levels; Effective time management andanization/prioritization skills.

Physical Requirements:

Position requires ordinary ambulatory skills and physical coordination sufficient to move about laboratory locations; ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch periodically, manipulation (lift, carry, move) of light to medium weights of 10-35 pounds; arm, hand and finger dexterity, including the ability to grasp; visual acuity to use a keyboard,puter monitor, operate equipment, and read materials for prolonged periods of time; ability to sit, reach with hands and arms, talk, and hear for prolonged periods of time. Will use safety glasses, safety shoes, lab coat, latex or similar gloves, safety apron, andanic respirator (occasionally).

Pay Details:

$15.00 per hour
