Infection Prevention/QAPI/Staff Education Coordinator-RN Position Available In Polk, Georgia

We are seeking a dedicated, andqualified RN to join our team to lead our Infection Prevention,QAPI and Staff Education Programs! Location:

Rockmart, GA Status Full-Time Shift 8AM

• 4:30PM Pay Range $32
• $40 based on licensing and experience

RESPONSIBILITIES

(not all-inclusive) Infection Prevention

• Assist with the collection of specimens from residents and staffto test for COVID-19 and other infectious diseases
• Assist with various aspects of infection control including butnot limited to educating employees on hygiene best practices,social distancing, and mask sanitation
• Work in collaboration with the Corporate Infection PreventionNurse Manager
• Perform other duties as assigned Quality Improvement
• Implements and monitors the organization’s quality improvementprogram.
• Ensures there are processes in place to monitor and measure allactivities related to performance improvement in all facilitydepartments.
• Ensures processes are in place to monitor and evaluate safetyand risk management programs that impact both patients and staffwithin the facility. Staff Education Coordinator
• Responsible for assisting in identifying training needs and inplanning, implementing, and evaluating the effectiveness of staffdevelopment programs within an assigned area of responsibility.
• This position matches the learning needs of nursing staff andnon-nursing staff with educational programs designed to meetdynamic resident care demands.
• Responsible for ensuring compliance with all State and Federalguidelines for in-service education and new employeeorientation. Requirements
• Possession of a valid Georgia RN license which is in goodstanding.
• Ability to meet all health requirements, including a drugscreen.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check.
