Camden, ME. Responsibilities Implement infection prevention policies and procedures in compliance with regulatory guidelines Conduct regular infection control risk assessments Monitor healthcare-associated infections and implement measures to prevent their spread Educate healthcare staff on infection prevention protocols Investigate outbreaks of infections and implement control measures Collaborate with healthcare teams to promote best practices in infection prevention Stay updated on current trends and advancements in infection prevention Requirements Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and compliance Leadership skills to effectively manage infection prevention initiatives Understanding of physiology and patient monitoring techniques Proficiency in aseptic techniques and patient observation Experience in MDS reporting preferred Previous work in assisted living or acute care settings is advantageous
