THE POSITION
We are seeking a dedicated RN Infection Preventionist to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this critical role, you will be at the forefront of ensuring the health and safety of our patients by developing and implementing infection control protocols. Your specialized knowledge and commitment to excellence will play a key role in preventing and controlling the spread of infectious diseases within our facility. If you are passionate about patient care and have a keen eye for detail, we invite you to apply and contribute to our high standards of infection prevention and control. Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing, Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse or temporary license as a Registered Nurse Practitioner in the state of North Carolina or compact state as appropriate. Bachelor’s degree required. Minimum five years nursing experience required. Graduate-level degree in a relevant field of management, nursing, policy, or administration preferred. Experience in Infection Prevention and Control, surgical services and/or sterile processing preferred. . Certification in Infection Prevention and Control (CIC) is required of at least one member of the department (may be the leader). CIC is highly preferred for other members of the department.
