Qualifications and Requirements:

Applicants must have a current state RN license in North Carolina or a Compact

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Associates of Nursing (ASN) degree required
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) Preferred Additional requirements include:
• Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) is required
• Requires 2 years of work experience in an acute care setting.
• Long-term care experience preferred.

Long Term Care Unit Details:

The following diagnoses are seen in this unit: dementia, Alzheimer’s, CHF, COPD, short-term rehab, and geriatrics. You will work closely with labs, rehab, hospice, and psychiatry.
