Salary:

$80,000 – $130,000 per year A bit about us: We arelooking for an innovative and passionate individual to join ourteam as a Food Scientist. This role is ideal for a seasonedprofessional with extensive experience in the food science field,particularly in confectionery products and/or baked goods. Thesuccessful candidate will be responsible for creating new foodproducts, enhancing the taste and quality of existing products, andensuring all products meet the highest safety and qualitystandards. This is an onsite role, so you will ideally need to belocated within a commutable distance and/or open to relocation. Whyjoin us? Job Details Responsibilities:

1. Develop newproduct ideas and recipes, and reformulate existing products tomeet specific customer requirements and market trends. 2. Conductpilot testing of new products, including stability testing, sensoryevaluation, and shelf life testing. 3. Collaborate withcross-functional teams to ensure successful product development andlaunch. 4. Utilize scientific methods to identify and evaluate thesafety, quality, and nutritional value of products. 5. Stay updatedon the latest food science technologies, industry trends, andregulatory changes. 6. Provide technical support to productionteams and address any issues related to product quality. 7. Conductregular product testing to ensure compliance with company andregulatory standards. 8. Prepare detailed reports and presentfindings to stakeholders.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree inFood Science, Chemistry, or a related field. A Master’s degree willbe an added advantage. 2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in thefood manufacturing industry, specifically in consumer productgoods, confectionery, and baked goods. 3. Extensive experience inpilot testing, product development, and product testing. 4. Strongknowledge of food safety regulations and quality assuranceprotocols. 5. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability tothink creatively and innovatively. 6. Exceptional communicationskills, with the ability to present complex information in a clearand concise manner. 7. Proven ability to work effectively in ateam-oriented, fast-paced environment. 8.
