JOB FUNCTION/ PURPOSE

The Hydrogeologist is responsible for monitoring, evaluating and reporting ground and water level conditions inside and outside soil/bentonite and cement/bentonite cutoff walls and storm water basins. Salary $24-$27/depending on level of experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Obtains water level readings and groundwater samples from monitoring piezometers. Performs tests on groundwater samples. Inspects the monitoring piezometers and reports in tabular and graphical presentation. Other duties as assigned. Monday through Friday.

Education/Experience :

one-year water/wastewater experience preferred.

Licenses/Certifications :

Valid Driver’s License (CDL preferred). Other licenses may vary according to specific site and assignments.

Technical :

Ability to follow manual & operating instructions. Basic knowledge of water/wastewater. Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office applications & internet.

Communication :

Communicates clearly & professionally. Contributes to a positive internal & external customer experience. Maintains composure in challenging situations. Collaborates with others. Asks for constructive feedback.
