Tampa, FL, Boca Raton, FL Salary:
$145k – $165k
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage a team of survey professionals. Oversee hydrographic and land-based survey projects, including data collection, processing, and interpretation using multibeam and single-beam sonar. Assign staff and survey equipment for projects, and ensure delivery timelines are met. Support geophysics/geologic teams in data analysis and report development. Produce hydrographic maps, engineering/geohazard reports, and technical presentations. Act as Surveyor of Record on topographic and hydrographic surveys. Ensure quality, safety, and adherence to technical standards. Develop project plans and manage budgets and schedules. Participate in business development, proposal writing, and client presentations. Mentor junior survey staff and promote continuous improvement.
Required Skills:
Bachelor’s in Hydrography, Geomatics, Geology, Geophysics, or Geological Oceanography 10+ years in multibeam sonar survey design, data collection, and analysis 10+ years using Hypack for marine hydrographic data Preferred Skills Leadership and project management experience Strong skills in ArcGIS, AutoCAD, Surfer, and Microsoft Office Willingness to travel and work in offshore environments Excellent communication, leadership, and scientific writing skills Experience integrating GPS, sub-bottom profilers, side scan sonar, and magnetometers Aleron companies (Acara Solutions, Aleron Shared Resources, Broadleaf Results, Lume Strategies, TalentRise, Viaduct) are an Equal Opportunity Employer.
