- Highly prefer candidates who can be in-office, but remote is possible for a perfect fit
- FEMA experience is highly desirable — strong candidates will have specific
background in FEMA projects

Must-Have Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Water Resources Engineering, or
related field
- MT-2 experience
- 5+ years of hydraulic and hydrologic (H&H) engineering experience
- Proficiency in HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, ICPR, Civil 3D, GIS
- Experience with
FEMA LOMR/MT-2
floodplain mapping and stormwater management
design
- Strong analytical, communication, and collaboration skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects effectively
- Project management experience and a desire to mentor junior engineers
- PE license preferred
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct hydrologic and hydraulic modeling for stormwater, riverine, and floodplain
systems
- Perform flood risk assessments, drainage studies, and mitigation planning
- Design and evaluate stormwater systems, culverts, and detention basins
- Lead FEMA (C)LOMR/MT-2 regulatory submissions and documentation
- Collaborate across disciplines, with clients and agencies, ensuring regulatory
compliance
- Support permitting efforts for water resource and floodplain projects
- Prepare technical reports, project documentation, and review modeling results
